Subscribers can enable their systems to let account holders send payments by check. Checks are funded by a Financial Account.
Checks greater than $2,000 USD must have a signature of the Primary Authorized Person linked to the FinancialAccount. See the Check Payment API guide for guidance.
What do the checks look like when mailed to vendors?
The signature that you upload for each financial account will appear on the check. During the initial phase, customization is handled manually, with API-based customization planned for future releases.
Can we include invoices in the check envelopes?
Not yet. Currently, we support a memo field that prints directly on the check.
Can we receive images of processed checks for audit purposes?
Yes, check images can be provided to you for auditing purposes. Currently, this is handled upon request (i.e., manually), with API access planned for a future release.
What information appears on the vendor's bank account for ACH payments?
The following fields typically appear in the receiver's bank account for ACH payments:
- Company Name
- Amount
- Company entry description
- Payment related information (if provided)
- Individual name
- Individual ID (depending on the receiving bank's system)
The format and presentation of these fields are determined by the receiving bank's portal and may vary.
