Highnote's rewards feature allows you to create rewards programs for your card products. This guide provides an overview of how Highnote's rewards feature works and steps for enabling it for your card product.
How it works
Creating a rewards program on the Highnote platform requires configuration of the following:
- Reward earn rules: This configuration defines how account holders earn rewards.
- Reward redemptions: This configuration defines how account holders redeem rewards.
Reward earn rules and redemptions are attached to a card product, which allows account holders to start accumulating rewards points. Account holders can redeem rewards for statement credits or through a third-party platform outside of the Highnote platform. Rewards programs using a third-party platform require manual rewards point adjustments in Highnote.
Enable the feature
By default, the rewards feature is enabled in the test environment for all consumer revolving credit card products. To enable rewards in the test environment for all other card products, contact support@highnote.com.
Once the feature is enabled in your test environment, you can test the feature using the Highnote dashboard. To use rewards in the live environment, complete the following requirements:
- Define your rewards program's policies and procedures.
- Have your rewards program approved by Highnote and the Partner Bank.
- Once approved, configure your rewards program in the live environment with the Highnote team.
Create a rewards program
Note: Once your rewards program is approved, the Highnote team will assist with creating rewards in the live environment.
Once the rewards feature is enabled in your test environment, you can test the feature and create a test rewards program in the dashboard. To get started with testing, see Create a rewards program.
