After placing a card order, you may want to track the order fulfillment process or review shipping methods. This guide provides an overview of card order fulfillment statuses and shipping methods.
Track card order fulfillment
Note: Pending status is only available for group orders.
Once a card order is sent to the printer, you can track order fulfillment using the order status. Refer to the following table for an overview of card order statuses and their descriptions:
Status | Description | Notes |
New | A request for a physical card has been made. | This is the only stage where you can cancel a card order. |
Pending | The group order is ready but hasn't been sent to the printer. | This status only applies to group orders. |
Sent to printer | The order has successfully been sent to the printer. | |
Approved | The printer has approved the order. | |
Shipped | The order has shipped. | |
Canceled | Highnote received a request to cancel the order. | |
Ship failed | The order failed to reach the account holder. | Failed orders are returned to the return address on file. |
Choose a shipping date
Highnote sends physical card fulfillment requests to the printer several times a day. When placing a card order, you can choose from the following shipping options:
- Choose a custom shipping date in the future
- Choose to ship the order immediately
For immediate shipping, the order will be fulfilled within 72 hours and shipped via the courier of your choice.

Note: Tracking numbers are unavailable for cards shipped via USPS Ground.
Available shipping methods differ depending on whether you place an individual or group card order.
Individual card orders
The following couriers are available for individual card orders:
Shipping method and expected time vary depending on the type of physical card being shipped.
USPS
Warning: USPS Priority Mail Express includes Signature Confirmation at no additional cost. If you do not wish to require Signature Confirmation, we recommend using another shipping method.

Note: At this time, group card orders are only available for on-demand cards.

Return address
The Highnote team configures the return address used for physical card orders when you set up your card product. To view or update your return address, contact support@highnote.com.
If an order can't be delivered, it is returned to your return address or Highnote, depending on the courier used. Refer to the following return methods:
- USPS Ground: Returned to return address
- USPS Priority or Express: Returned to Highnote
- UPS: Returned to Highnote
- FedEx: Returned to Highnote
