The Highnote dashboard is a no-code user interface built on top of the Highnote API. The dashboard provides an easy method for card product management and customer support. This guide provides a high-level overview of the Highnote dashboard.
Test and live environments
Warning: The Highnote test environment lets you explore the platform's features and functionality. It is intended for testing, building integrations, and training your team. To ensure the security of your real-world data, please do not enter production data into the test environment. Production data includes sensitive information like customer details, financial data, or personally identifiable information (PII). Use only test data explicitly created for testing purposes in the test environment.
The Highnote dashboard has two environments that allow you to interact with the platform. The test environment is enabled by default when creating an account for the first time. The following table provides an overview of the available environments and their use cases and features:

Switch environments
You can switch between test and live environments by clicking the environment drop-down in the Highnote dashboard. The drop-down has an indicator that shows what environment you are currently in.

Note: All capabilities are available in the test environment. Some features are limited in the live environment due to compliance and regulations.
The Highnote dashboard has many capabilities that allow you to manage your card product.
The following capabilities are not available in the live environment and require assistance from Highnote support or initiation from a cardholder:
- Create a card product
- Open an application
- Simulate digital wallet token provisioning and activation

Using dashboard search
The dashboard search bar allows you to search and filter data and objects. To use dashboard search, use the following steps:

Click the Search bar and select a search tag.

Optional – If your search tag requires choosing a card product, select the card product.

Type in your search query and press Enter on your keyboard.
Note the following when performing searches in the dashboard:

You must use relevant search tags.

Search tags can give an exact or partial match, except for the
phone:

ID search
You can use the id:
search tag to search for different object IDs. When searching for an ID, refer to the following steps:

Click the Search bar and select

Enter the ID you wish to search for.
